We all know that I LOVE a good house project. Give me a pillow to re-cover, furniture to paint, or new curtains to make and I'm a happy girl! However. House projects with the 2-year-old don't get finished so quickly. Let me present Exhibit A:
Poor little chaise sat in my sunroom for months in a semi-finished state. Many days of pre-school later, it's almost finished, as soon as I can keep the husband home long enough to flip it over for me.
The beach house has been a little neglected lately. Hopefully this will serve as a reminder of all the things that need to be done. ...in addition to all the things that need to be done at the real house.
Does it really count as a road trip when you spend tons of time at the destination you're 'road tripping' to? Or, when you've already spent most of your week 'on the road?'
Prob Not.
But, it just makes me feel better to say, "ROAD TRIP!" Have a lovely weekend, wherever you are!
