Low Country Boil

 Being at home has been so nice.  

I even took advantage of a little time in the kitchen and whipped up this low country boil for dinner.  

I love things that are contained in one pot, 

the clean-up after this meal was amazing!  

I did a lot of tweaking, but you can get started with this.

Our local antique show is pretty much fantastic, 

even on a bad day.

I went this weekend and picked up some pretty cute things on the cheap.

Nesting Tables

I found these nesting tables and had to have them!  

They're a perfect addition to my guest room.

I'm looking forward to a quiet, peaceful, project-filled weekend.  

In fact, I've already started on a few of the projects and I hope to finish them soon.

Guest Room = Best Room

Since moving in this house, I've REALLY taken my time decorating.  

I just didn't feel an urgency since there was so much to tackle and I didn't want to jump into something and then not like it 5 minutes later.  

...which I'm prone to do.  

I've finally got moving in one of the guest rooms and it looks so much better, already.  

I received this mirror (which I'm using as a tray) as a Christmas gift.  Thanks, Momma!

 I picked up this fabric to make pillows with.

That's the next project.    

Whew!

All this celebrating is wearing me out!

I want to lay down with this fluffy pillow for a bit.

....but I still have two trees to take down, curtains that need to be hung, and laundry.
