It's already Easter weekend?!?!

How did I get so far behind?  

Looking forward to lots of egg hunting this weekend.  

Unfortunately, G needs a refresher course on how that all goes down.  :-(

I'm still enjoying all the Spring blooms in my yard!

My partner-in-crime and I thought we should celebrate our favorite show with a fun dinner.  

With time constraints upon me, I settled for a pretty table setting with fast and easy food.  

Here's my glam table:

...complete with Bananas as our place card holders.

Our food was very simple;

we had Veggie Flatbread with Chips n Dips.

...but I did make these chips.  :-)

And the other partier made these for dessert.

I'm not sure what they are, but they were fantastic!!!

Spring

I know it's spring because I want to bring every color into my house.  

...simultaneously.  

...not even kidding.  

These Easter candies are satisfying my sweet tooth and need for color!

Though I'm enjoying all my 'new' stuff, I'm also searching for opportunities to use these blue glasses.  

These were my grandmother's and I love them, I'm so glad they didn't work in my mom's color wheel!  

More New Stuff

I found these adorable trays last week, too, and they've made their way to my kitchen table.  

Hopefully, I can show you more of the 'big' stuff soon. 

We're waiting on our favorite handy-man to get things up!

Did I mention that I went on a little BIG shopping spree last week? 

Actually, I went on a little BIG shopping spree a few weeks ago, but had to wait until our first free weekend to bring my goodies home.  

These are the first of several showings, they're the first to find their homes.  :-)

Go us!  

Selfishly, I'm just happy for the validation that this truly is the best place to live.

Garden Decor

This is an exciting week 'round here!  

The outdoor lighting folks and landscapers are coming to make my yard look a little happier.  

I'll be happy to share the finished product, 

but these inspiration shots will have to do for now.

Here are a few inspirational shots from our mini-vacation last weekend.  

I stumbled into this adorable store and loved everything I saw.  

And, as promised, there was snow.  

It was soooo pretty and and just enough for G to play in!

Attention

Griffin NEVER wants me to take pictures of him.  

...until I'm taking pictures of something else.  

Only then will he sit, pose, and ASK me to take his picture.

Really, I can only half complain because it does give me the opportunity to get some sweet pics of him!!

Cupcakes and Competition

I made these for our little trip last weekend and had to take pics before they were all gobbled up.  

I've had this tin (from Grammie) since Christmas and it made for a fabulous mode of transportation for the cupcakes.
